Ingredients

1 Pack Jasberry Organic Ready-to-Eat Superfood Rice Original
1 can chickpeas – drained
1 Head Cos lettuce
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1/4 cup Water
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp Organic Coconut Sugar
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Lime juice
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp Tomato paste
1 tbsp White sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

1. Transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and toss them with cornstarch and water to coat.

2. In a separate bowl, combine organic coconut sugar, garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, tomato paste, and sesame oil. Set the sauce aside.

3. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is shimmering, add the chickpeas. Cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.

4. Add the sauce to the crispy chickpeas and cook for another 2 minutes, or until heated through.

5. Heat 1 pack of Jasberry Organic Ready-to-Eat Superfood Rice Original based on instruction. Let it cool down.

6. Serve with fresh Cos lettuce leaves, topped with Jasberry Organic Ready-to-Eat Superfood Rice and cooked chickpeas, and a sprinkle of white sesame seeds.
